If there’s any way we can help to solve issues or eliminate delays, then that’s what we want to do.” That’s what they did on The Workshop, Sunny says – and he believes the clients highly appreciated them for it. “They loved the finish product,” he says. “Every project has its challenges, but once the building was complete, the result was undeniable. There’s nothing else like it in town, not that I’ve seen. It’s a beautiful building and it’s the first of its kind. It’s something we’re all very proud of.” This year’s other award-winning project, ‘The Post,’ was a massive mixed-use project that was noted as one of the largest purpose-built redevelopments to take place in downtown Vancouver in years. The project involved taking a heritage Canada Post building and transforming it into a retail podium with 185,000 square feet of space, and two glass towers sitting atop the retail podium rising to 21 and 22 storeys, which will provide a total of 1.13 million square feet of office space.
