The fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh floors were designed to highlight brilliant North Shore mountain views. For Phoenix Glass, project highlights included the installation of SSG curtain wall, GFRC panels, and a glass canopy. That client on that project was the Mondivan Group, who Phoenix Glass has worked with before – in fact; they were the same client they worked with on their aforementioned 2018 award-winning residential tower. This time, they sought assistance from Phoenix Glass right at the very start of the process: “Our involvement was right from the beginning,” Sunny says. “It was a design-assist. We helped with the design and planning of the entire building envelope. Originally, the cladding and the glazing were two separate scopes – part of our proposal was that we incorporate both in one scope. That’s how we approached it, and that came with its own risks and challenges – but we worked through those challenges and we got it done, and the result was obviously award-winning.” The relationship with the Mondivan Group on that project was naturally very strong, as they were a client Phoenix Glass had already worked to award-winning effect in the past.
