At the 17th Annual 2025 Indigenous Business Awards, for example, the company received the ‘Community-Owned Business of the Year – One Entity’ award. That award – presented by the BC Achievement Foundation – celebrates excellence in Indigenous entrepreneurship and innovation, and recognizes leaders who drive transformative change in their communities and beyond. According to David, that kind of industry acknowledgement means a lot to the team at SRM.
