It’s about satisfaction. I need to be satisfied. The customer needs to be satisfied.” Manjeet came to that emphasis on satisfaction as a result of his own renovation experience and what he felt was missing. By understanding exactly what had frustrated him as a client, he made it his mission to ensure no one who hired MJ Ontario Constructions would feel the same way. Today, the company’s residential focus is on full home remodels, luxury renovations, and legal additional dwelling unit apartments and additions. On the commercial side, they take on all manner of renovation work and are actively expanding into the industrial sector. Geographically, MJ Ontario Constructions currently serves Essex County, but within the next three to four years Manjeet hopes to cover “pretty much all of Southwest Ontario.” No matter where they are working, however, and no matter the project typology, Manjeet believes what sets MJ Ontario Constructions apart is their unyielding commitment to transparency and honest communication. He says they are direct about what is achievable within a given budget, upfront about timelines, and they are consistent about keeping clients informed – even when the news isn’t what they want to hear. “We are always open, upfront, and honest with the customer,” he says. “If we say we can do it, we can do it. If we cannot, we say so. If something is going to cost more, we tell the customer upfront. We set clear expectations and we always keep MAY 2026
