The Construction Source

with another company, he decided to strike out on his own and form Champagne Glass & Door in 2022. From the start, his vision was to raise glass installation standards and deliver a premium customer experience within both residential and commercial markets. When Ryan launched the company, it was just him in a van, starting from scratch. But the transition from employee to owner came with a deliberate shift in focus. Rather than continuing in the service-call grind he had known as a service manager, he redirected his energy toward architectural installations – frameless showers, commercial storefronts, heavy glass systems, and precision work in higher-end spaces. In just under four years, Champagne Glass & Door has grown significantly, powered by that renewed focus. They now operate as a team of eight out of Waterloo and have broadened their reach across a substantial portion of southwestern Ontario, from London to the western edge of the GTA, and extending into cottage country for the right projects. Today, the company’s work is organized under two divisions – commercial construction and architectural glazing and frameless showers – which together allow them to tackle virtually the full spectrum of projects all under one roof. In terms of scale and value, those projects can range widely. A single frameless shower door might come in around $1,000 to $1,200, while large commercial engagements – full storefronts, window wall systems, and institutional builds – can exceed $500,000.
