In Edmonton, for example, the company was brought in to address a pipe that had become filled with 100 meters of solid concrete. The challenge was the line ran beneath an Indigenous monument, which meant that open-cut excavation was not an option. “We had to remove all that concrete without disturbing the surface,” Scott explains. “We sourced a rotary impact cutter that fit the challenge, paired it with our high-pressure capabilities, and put an operator on it who’s been cutting for more than 20 years.” The work demanded precision and patience.
