Many of the company’s subcontractor relationships go back decades, with some going back as long as 40 years. The same applies to their material suppliers. On the lumber side alone, Bateman Development has worked with the same vendor for 15 years, a partnership built on reliable monthly pricing, consistent service, and a high quality product. Internally, the company takes the same long-term approach. The company’s in-house team includes just two project managers, both of whom have worked with Allan for many years. One joined in 2012, and the other has worked with him since 1988. “They are very experienced guys,” Allan says. “They know the quality that I expect and they know how to deliver it.
