Construction began in 2005 and was completed in 2009. It was the first residential development of that scope in the city and was received extremely well. “Even though it went up during the recession, it still sold out at record prices,” Faaris recalls. “It was the only project of its kind that actually increased its prices during the recession and still sold out.” The company’s second project, ‘The Piano,’ was also located in Langford. It featured 10 singlefamily homes and 76 townhouses delivered across three phases. In 2015, that project won two CARE Awards from the Victoria Residential Builders Association, specifically ‘Best Single Family Detached Custom Home over 3,000 sq. ft.’ and ‘Best Website.’ The company’s current project is called ‘Bona Vita.’ It’s a rental development comprised of 138 residential units across eight storeys, located at 594 Latoria Road in the fast-growing City of Colwood. In addition to the residential units, Bona Vita also comprises 1,500 square feet of ground floor commercial space, as well as a long list of development features, including: 3,700 square feet of gym and amenity area (including a gym and day care); 306 underground parking stalls; 75 surface parking stalls; water retention ponds; and a great many thoughtful landscape features.
