In partnership with those initial investors, the company started levelling up in scale and doing some multiresidential developments. Today, Sunrise focusesprimarily on their own developments, which are mainly low-rise townhouse developments ranging from 12 to 50 units in size. Geographically, those projects typically take place in the GTA, mostly in the York Region – though they are also interested in expanding into the Durham Region moving forward. For friends and family, the company will also do the occasional large-scale custom home, with sizes ranging from 7,000 to 10,000 square feet. Additionally, Sunrise can provide project management and building services for other developers, particularly firsttime developers.
