That led to a few successful side projects, which led to the owner of a prominent Muskoka construction company reaching out and offering him a job. “He was the father of a friend that I used to play hockey with in Huntsville when I was younger,” Kyle recalls. “One of his partners was leaving to go to Papua New Guineau for a couple of years and he needed somebody to step in and fill the spot. He offered me the job with a potential road to ownership. I couldn’t turn it down.” Kyle ended up working with that company for seven years, he became an owner, and he was involved in the construction of some of Muskoka’s most luxurious cottage properties.
