MJ Ontario Constructions is a construction company based in Windsor, Ontario, specializing in commercial, industrial, and luxury residential projects across. These days, their focus is on largescale and custom builds, but they also provide basement finishing and home renovations in order to realize the dreams of a wide variety of clients. Manjeet Burmi, the company’s founder and CEO, comes from a multi-faceted background – he holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science, he’s worked as an IT consultant and manager for Fortune 500 companies, and he’s also an HCRAlicensed professional and hands-on construction expert. His journey into construction began after he purchased his own home and wanted to renovate it. “It turned out to be a very hectic experience, rather than the adventure I thought it would be,” he recalls. “Then I realized it wasn’t just me that had gone through that kind of experience. A lot of people have had to go through it. That’s the day that I decided to change my career and jump from IT into construction.” When he launched MJ Ontario Constructions, Manjeet came well-prepared. Years of personal DIY projects had given him not only hands-on skill but a full complement of tools before he ever took on his first paying client.
