They also intend to keep growing, and they expect that growth to take a variety of forms – they want to expand into new complementary product categories, they want to open new locations and expand their service radius, and they want to grow their team and foster the next generation of company leadership. That latter goal is particularly important, as they have a wave of experienced team members approaching retirement over the next five years. “Succession planning is a major focus,” says Luc. “We’re making sure that we have a thorough plan, and whoever retires has a successor in place who can fulfill their role.” “No matter what happens, we’re definitely going to continue growing and getting better at servicing our clients,” he concludes. “Throughout the company’s entire history, that’s what we’ve always done – and that’s what we’re going to continue to do moving forward.”
