They love entertaining in that home. Everyone that comes to that house, they always have such wonderful things to say. It has been featured a few times in publications. Everyone was very pleased with it.” Recently, FOHR also completed a “character home” where their goal was to thoughtfully modernize it without compromising the original arm. The challenge there, Rania explains, was “was balancing restraint with impact – preserving architectural details while introducing contemporary elements through cabinetry, lighting, and material selection.” Those types of heritage projects are especially rewarding for the team at FOHR, Heather adds, “as they allow history and modern living to coexist in a meaningful way.” Looking ahead, the team at FOHR is excited about several large-scale projects currently in development, including new builds and extensive renovations that will unfold over the next few years. They consider those projects to be “particularly energizing” because they allow their team be involved from the earliest stages. That means they can collaborate with the architects and builders to influence spatial planning, flow, and long-term functionality from the ground up. “Those projects reflect the direction we continue to grow toward – highly considered, layered homes where every decision is intentional and
