Brixen Developments is a real estate developer and homebuilder based in Vaughan, Ontario, formed with a focus on building real communities for real people. Since forming in 2019, they have lived up to their founding vision by delivering multiple mid-rise and high-rise residential condos and townhomes across the GTA, with increasingly larger and more expansive projects still in the pipeline. Throughout their short history, they have already been recognized with multiple prestigious BILD and CHBA National Awards – and more of those accolades are surely on the way, given the tenets that underpin each of their developments. “Brixen is a company built on common values – commitment to quality, desire to build communities, and the underlying belief that people come first,” says Alex D’Orazio, co-founder and owner. “We are determined to integrate these values into each project.” Alex has personally been developing and constructing mixed-use, high-density communities for over 15 years, and has been responsible for building more than 6,000 units throughout various stages of development and construction. His partner and co-founder, Andrew Iacobelli, comes from a background in engineering and but has similarly worked in the real estate for more than a decade in a variety of roles. The two of them have a long history working together, starting from when they first met under the employ of another small general contractor. After going their separate ways for a period – Alex moving into high-rise development with companies like Minto and CentreCourt, and Andrew taking a role as an owner’s representative at a low-rise development company – the two stayed in close contact and always had their sights set on building something together.
