Ornella Homes is a Burlington-based designbuild firm specializing in custom luxury homes, major renovations, and restorations. They are a company formed almost 20 years ago with the goal of raising the standard of homebuilding within Ontario. Throughout their history, they have built up a team of architects, designers, and skilled tradespeople who take pride in their craft, and they have collectively developed a reputation for providing clients with extraordinary designs, premium quality work, and exceptional value along the way. “For almost two decades, our devotion to our clients and their communities has been measured in every home designed, managed, and realized,” says Peter Giampuzzi, the company’s founder and lead project consultant. “We’ve become pretty well known in our region and we’ve built a really strong reputation among trades and clients – most of whom are now our friends.” Peter personally comes from a deep background in the building industry – his grandparents were plumbers and stonemasons who emigrated from Italy in the 1960s and70s, and Peter grew up in and around construction sites. He started his own career in construction while still in school, doing some renovations with the father of a friend who ran a concrete business. After graduating, he then got into landscaping, and was soon doing some “really high-end stuff” – including swimming pools, retaining walls, heated driveways, water features, and backyard barbecues. From there, he progressed into smaller interior renovations and then full-scale design-builds.
