JULY 2026 “It was a zero margin for error project,” Ryan says. “Everyone worked with perfect project management, and everything landed just right. You can’t always be that lucky, this one worked out exceptionally well.” Following the completion of that project, the client commended the team at Champagne Glass & Door not only for the precision of the finished product but for the speed and reliability with which they delivered it. For Ryan, it is a job he still regularly references on social media. “It’s just one of those pieces that you look back on, or you walk by, and you’re proud to say that you pulled it off,” he says. “It’s one of those jobs where the attention to detail really does show. You can really see that champagne finish.” Moving forward, Ryan’s goal is to do more highend and creative projects like that one. He also has ambitious plans to grow – his vision is to scale Champagne Glass & Door tenfold within the next three years. As part of that effort, he envisions expand westward across Canada and eventually into the United States, with a focus on the East Coast. He believes the systems and personnel they have in place now will allow the company to achieve that growth without sacrificing the craftsmanship and culture that define them today. Again, however, Ryan emphasizes that growth in size will not come at the cost of growth in ambition. He is clear that he is not interested in cookie-cutter work. “We’re not looking for work to expand just for the sake of volume,” he says. “We want stuff with that creative charisma. We want to keep putting our own stamp on things.” Ryan points to projects already in the pipeline, including quoted work in downtown Toronto involving glass panels spanning over 20 feet wide and 10 feet high, as an indication of where the company is headed. They intend to keep taking on the most demanding glass challenges in the industry – and to keep raising the bar with every project they complete.
