From Tim’s perspective, those are the most meaningful measures of success. “The best accolade is finishing a project and having a homeowner genuinely grateful for the experience,” he says. One project that exemplifies TSH’s approach to building is a recently completed waterfront cottage-style home in the Ottawa area, valued at approximately $2.5 million. According to Tim, that home struck a balance between modern design and warmth, and it represents one of his favourite builds to date – both stylistically and emotionally. The standout feature was the interior and exterior arched timber framing, a material choice Tim has long appreciated. The project was an award submission finalist in the annual Greater Ottawa Home Builders’ Association awards event, but for Tim, the real satisfaction came from having a happy client and seeing a vision fully realized.
