The Construction Source

FEBRUARY 2026 In order to best execute on their commitments, SAVI Industrial also invests heavily in new equipment and technology. Luis notes that delays in construction are often caused not by manpower, but by unreliable machinery and downtime. To address those risks, SAVI has invested in modern, high-performance equipment across their service lines, including advanced flooring systems, spray foam rigs, and fireproofing machinery. One example is their use of Graco’s XM PFP system, which allows fireproofing materials to be applied more efficiently and with faster curing times. That increased productivity gives SAVI a distinct advantage on larger, schedule-sensitive projects. The company’s operational model also emphasizes consolidation of scope. By performing multiple trades under one roof, SAVI reduces the downtime that often occurs between mobilization and demobilization of different subcontractors. “Between one trade mobilizing and another demobilizing, you can lose days,” Luis says. “We can do several different tasks on the same project, which allows us to accelerate the schedule or at least reduce overall lead time. And on construction projects, time is money.” SAVI Industrial’s ability to move fast is also a credit to the talent and skill of their employees. Internally, they employ a team of six staff members and twenty-five field workers, all of whom are supported by a culture built on transparency and communication. The company operates from an open-concept office, with leadership closely connected to field operations. Discussions around upcoming sites, logistics, and scheduling happen collaboratively, and team members
