For example, one of their frequent collaborators is Monte’s Plumbing – a locally-based business that has been providing highquality plumbing services to the area for almost five years now. They provide a variety of services to a variety of clients, and in the field of custom homes and renovations in particular they are known for their eye for detail and their commitment to delivering a flawless finished product. Moving forward, Frontiers Design Build Inc. aims to continue fostering strong and lasting relationships with partners of that caliber. In collaboration with those partners, they also aim to be involved in more high-performance homes like the one in Arkells Village – the kind of homes that cost a little bit more upfront, but save the clients’ money in the long run, while making a long-term difference in the wellbeing of the families who reside in them. The company hopes that the example they set on that award-winning is an example their other clients can look to. Furthermore, Frontiers and other nearby builders are also looking to see industry growth that supports the integration of that kind of high performance approach into both new construction as well as renovation retrofits. In British Columbia, builders have already implemented Passive House concepts into their projects at scale. Doug and his team believe that Ontario is falling behind.
