The town’s liveability is also attracting people, Justin believes. He describes Gander as compact and navigable – with its furthest subdivisions situated only about five minutes from the mall, Walmart, and other core retail amenities. Many properties also back onto green belts, which is also “very appealing.” On top of everything else, the town is home to an historic airport, one of the most storied in Canadian aviation history. That facility lends the town a distinct character and an ongoing economic partnership opportunity. “There are a lot of things going for us,” Justin understates.
