AUGUST 2026 on them to get started.” Moving forward, in collaboration with those longterm partners, Kaden’s goal is to progress more into the custom home sector. To that end, they have plans to build a large shop in Lorette, which will have living quarters on one side designed to function as a working showroom where clients can come to select finishes and see Hera’s craftsmanship up close. “It’ll be like a show home, but it’ll be attached to our shop,” Kaden explains. “We’ll be able to show off some of the cooler stuff we can do.” Again, Kaden says, the vision is to do more of that “cool stuff” and less insurance work. The Kiwi Construction brand will live on and the company will continue doing renovations and fences and decks for homeowners, but their main focus will be doing high-end homes under the Hera brand – which is the kind of work that most excites their team. “We all get a lot of satisfaction from starting on a dirt lot, imagining a beautiful house, and then building something everybody loves,” he says. “We want to do more of that and build a name for ourselves.” “We don’t want to be doing 50 houses a year like some of the bigger companies out here,” he concludes. “We want to be doing about 10 houses per year and build them all to a really high standard of quality.”
