AUGUST 2026 seamless experience from initial consultation to installation, and to create beautifully designed spaces that blend functionality and modern aesthetics. VFB and their clients rely often on their design guidance and benefit always from their attentive and responsive customer service. Moving forward, in collaboration with Eureka and other likeminded partners, VFB’s goal is to keep growing and expanding their reach. Currently, the team is wrapping up a dual full bathroom renovation in a home on the Hamilton Mountain while simultaneously managing a garage renovation and dispatching a crew member to Toronto for the basement phase of the aforementioned multi-floor project. The work is varied, the geography is broad, and the pipeline continues to extend into new territory – both literally and in terms of project type. The recently secured commercial license represents a deliberate step toward that expansion. Ultimately, Elijah envisions a structure where one dedicated team handles bathroom renovations while another manages larger, more complex projects – a model he is in the early stages of building out, having recently partnered with another general contractor to expand capacity. Additionally, Elijah is considering establishing a visible market presence, potentially including a showroom, as a way to attract the higher-end clientele that larger renovation budgets tend to reach through more established-looking firms. And while new builds are not a current focus, he doesn’t rule them out for the longer term. “Someday I would love to get into new builds,” he says. “We’re way behind on new builds in this country, and I can see a day when we’ll have to turn that faucet on.” For now, however, he says their priorities are clear – attract larger renovation clients, deepen the company’s reputation for quality, and continue doing what has worked since the beginning. That means communicating well, staying consistent with quality, and always leading with character.
