In 2020, Elijah to Hamilton to pursue more work in the GTA. In the years since, the company has grown and evolved steadily in both size and renown. Today, VFB operates across a primary range stretching from South Grimsby to Oakville, with select projects reaching into Toronto for the right clients and the right scope of work. Their projects run the full gamut of residential renovation, from bathroom renovations starting at $5,000 to full home remodels valued up to $1 million. On the larger end, Elijah points to a 2022 project in Mississauga valued at approximately $700,000, in which the team reconfigured virtually the entire structure – vaulting ceilings, opening up the main floor, ripping out subfloor, and relocating loadbearing beams. The clients VFB serves are predominantly homeowners pursuing meaningful upgrades to their living spaces – people who have invested in their properties and want results that reflect that investment. As the company’s reputation has grown, it has also begun attracting higher-end residential clients pursuing larger, more complex renovations. The company also recently obtained their City of Hamilton commercial contractor license, opening the door to apartment and commercial renovation work alongside their core residential business. No matter the size of the project, Elijah believes VFB is set apart by the three things he thinks about “every single day” – communication, consistency, and character.
