The Construction Source

APRIL 2026 The project was delivered under a design-assist model, allowing Bothwell-Accurate to engage at an early stage. Ali, who served as Project Manager, notes that the design, shop drawings, and engineering process took nearly two years. “We were able to work closely with the consultants and architects to develop the details and bring the vision to life,” he says. “We also built a full-scale visual mock-up in our shop to demonstrate the system to consultants and stakeholders.” Bothwell-Accurate earned Guardian Glass Awards for the Nature’s Path its work on the Hive project – an achievement Ali says demonstrates the company’s leadership in unitized glazing with mass timber structures. “This project proved that we can successfully deliver unitized glazing on mass timber highrises,” he says. “Very few glazing companies are doing this, and it positions us at the forefront of this emerging market.” Looking ahead, McLean says the company plans to expand its use of unitized glazing systems on commercial projects. To support that growth, Bothwell-Accurate is developing a proprietary curtain wall system, BA3060, expected to launch in the near future. Under the leadership of CEO George Vassallo, who acquired the company in 2006, BothwellAccurate has more than doubled its revenue and grown from 85 employees to more than 700. That momentum continues. “Our CEO George Vassallo and President Krystal Davey have a very clear vision centered on continuous growth,” Ali concludes. “Our goal is simple: to get a little bigger and a little better every single day.”
