By the time he graduated high school, he was working in the industry full time. After relocating from New Brunswick to Ontario, Stein cut his teeth in Toronto’s commercial sector. He joined the carpenters union, learned formwork on large crews, and then moved into interior office renovations. He quickly rose through the ranks at another building company, where he was running sizeable projects by his mid-twenties.
