Looking ahead, Kontur is also “definitely looking to grow,” Matthew says. Their goal is to be a “mid-sized firm,” which will mean adding more employees, widening their geographic reach into Alberta, and increasing their number of locations in British Columbia. They currently have four locations across BC, Port Coquitlam, Squamish, Cranbrook and newly opened Abbotsford. No matter how big the company grows, however, Matthew emphasizes that they will never compromise on the qualities that have fueled their growth: “We’re always going to offer the same level of service and responsiveness,” he says. “That’s a big part of who we are and what sets us apart and it always will be.” Matthew concludes by quoting the company’s core focus: “Our purpose, cause and passion is to solve problems and create value by providing effective solutions that improve lives and drive success, while nurturing untiring meaningful relationships and promoting a sustainable future for our communities.” APRIL 2026
