Lekadez Construction Limited is a Saskatoon general contractor that provides both commercial and residential building services. Since forming in 2020, they have successfully completed a wide range of projects for a long list of satisfied clients. In that time, they have also successfully demonstrated their expertise in a wide range of building services, from design, to carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, flooring, electrical, exterior finishes, decks, and fences – according to Olalekan Adegbenro, the founder and owner of the company, they are experts at essentially “every aspect that is embedded in the construction industry.” For Olalekan, that expertise is the result of a lot of training and a lot of experience – he personally has both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Architecture, and since moving to Canada from Nigeria he’s earned over a decade of experience in the Saskatoon construction industry. Over the years, he worked with various companies as an architectural designer and site supervisor before striking out and starting his own business in 2020. Initially, Lekadez Construction focused on renovations – and they still do – but last year Olalekan became a licensed architect in Canada, and the company has also started focusing more on new builds. They really enjoy new builds, Olalekan explains, because it gives them the opportunity to bring their clients visions to life. That’s actually why he first founded Lekadez, he says: “I wanted to use my architectural knowledge and expertise to create spaces that actually meet the needs of clients,” he recalls.
