Laneway Pros is a full service builder of prefabricated / factory-built garden suites, laneway homes and multi-plex homes in Toronto, Brampton, Mississauga, and surrounding areas. Inspired by building movements in Japan and Europe, they are a company dedicated to delivering high-end homes and delivering them with certainty. From design to permitting to construction, they aim to guide clients through the whole process, keeping them informed at every stage, and tailoring a product that is beautiful, functional, and exactly what the client envisioned. Minesh Dattani, managing director of the company, comes from a background in information technology and accounting. He first entered the construction industry in 2008 when he founded Fuzion Designs, a company that did over 250 home renovations and remodels. As the leader of that company, he started observing a greater demand in Ontario for homes that included additional dwelling units (ADUs) and detached additional dwelling units (D-ADUs). That’s when he became interested in prefabrication, which he identified as an ideal method to construct those units quickly and cost-efficiently – while still achieving a high standard of quality. Laneway Pros officially launched earlier this year. To begin with, the company is mainly focused on the Greater Toronto Area, but Minesh says their homes have the U-values and R-values to qualify for most provinces in Canada. To generate leads, they have developed a sales process powered by the latest technology, including AI – that’s where Minesh’s background comes in handy. “I grew up in IT,” he says. “I’m an IT-first guy.
