Jerry began his career in testing in 1997, developing hands-on expertise in concrete, soil, and asphalt analysis. Seven years later, in 2004, he founded Kootenay Testing to bring these services to the Okanagan and Kootenay regions of British Columbia. Over the years, the company has grown into a trusted local partner for builders, contractors, and municipalities, known for technical skill, integrity, and personal attention to every project. Kootenay Testing offers a wide range of services including concrete testing, soil testing, asphalt testing, and quality control management. While the technical scope is critical, what truly sets the company apart is Jerry’s approach to building relationships. In a region where construction is spread across small towns, knowing who is doing what – and being trusted to deliver – is invaluable. Some customers have been working with Jerry for more than two decades.
