Atec has the architecture and expertise to execute on virtually any project, especially when in partnership with clients and collaborators.” A recent example is Atec’s role on the Rogers Centre Gardiner Pylon Marquee for the Toronto Blue Jays – a collaborative effort with the venue, Rogers Centre, project leads, SNA, and design partners Anthony James Partners (AJP), whose team delivered an exceptional design and rendering for the marquee. The scope included a new digital display, illuminated channel lettering, Blue Jays logos, and RGB architectural lighting tied into perforated cladding. Atec’s contribution was to execute on AJP’s vision, covering structural review alongside their consulting engineer, shop drawings, custom fabrication, site assembly, and installation, ensuring the final product matched the high standards set by the design team. This project required existing-conditions scanning, engineering coordination, precision geometry for a seamless video display and careful craning/booming in a sloped grade and confined area, sequenced around live event schedules.
