Atec Signs is a Brampton, Ontario-based company specializing in custom fabrication, high rise and crown signage, digital & architectural signage, and wayfinding. Since 2000, they have grown into a successful and sustainable business with a team of capable employees working out of a 40,000-square-foot facility. While much of their work is concentrated in the Greater Toronto Area, Atec delivers projects across Canada and the United States, often in partnership with leading designers, architects, and builders. “Our focus is collaborating with architects, designers, and builders to execute complex sign projects safely and to specification,” says Noah Jeppesen, a project manager and marketer with the company. “Atec brings effective engineering, fabrication discipline, site coordination, and installation experience to help deliver a shared vision – always recognizing the contributions of its partners and project teams.” Atec Signs was founded by three partners – Erik Jeppesen, Stefan Zwaal, and Stephen Hurst – and has steadily expanded its team while building expertise in structural steel and miscellaneous metal fabrication (aluminum, steel, Corten, stainless), plastics, Ipe wood, painted vinyl, digitally printed graphics, and illuminated/unlit signage. Atec has embraced technological advances in digital signage, as seen in projects like Scotiabank Arena Gate 1 and the interior signage package, where Atec worked alongside partners such as PCL, entro, LG, and ANC – trusted collaborators who rely on Atec to help deliver on client and designer visions. These days, backed by that knowledge and experience, Atec Signs takes on a wide variety of projects varying greatly in size and value. Their OCTOBER 2025
