The GeoFocus Group is a company that provides complete construction management, construction consulting and land development services to clients spanning a variety of industry sectors. Though based in Vaughan, Ontario, their history is marked by a series of successfully delivered real estate and development projects in Canada, the US, and Europe. In recent years, they have focused mainly on developing purpose-built rental properties, which the housing market in Canada desperately needs. Some of those projects they are delivering for external developers, and on some they are working for themselves. Precision in every decision defines who we are and what we deliver.” The GeoFocus Group was originally founded in 1971 by Roger Altobelli, Adam’s father and a veteran of the construction industry. Adam himself grew up around the industry and after graduating university joined the family business. When he got there, the company’s focus was on “projects that went sideways.” “We would jump in on behalf of the lender, the receiver, or the developer, and really work backwards to try and figure out what went wrong,” Adam recalls. “We would essentially clean those projects up, turn them around, and take OCTOBER 2025
