Our newest endeavours are even better. We keep setting the bar higher and higher.” No matter the star rating, the Parkway was delivered to an extremely high standard and was also well received by both investors and residents. In the years since, Marwest has been able to grow significantly based on that success, and not just in the seniors independent living market. The company has also pursued the occasional commercial opportunity – for example, they built the new Earls in downtown Winnipeg, which opened in 2002. Armin reports that their client on that project was also extremely pleased: “They said to our faces that ‘This was one of the best construction relationships we’ve ever had,’” he says.
