“We’ve never been the kind of firm where we have to hire and fire people as work comes and goes,” Brent says. “We don’t ever want to be that firm. Everybody here is a family; we all look out for each other. We want to keep it that way.” “We do look at branching out, though,” he adds. “We’re looking at doing some different types of projects and maybe doing some larger projects. Michelle has a lot of experience with those larger projects, and we’ve talked about tapping into that experience. But we want to make sure we get our feet under us first.” “Even if we do grow, I don’t think we’d grow to be a mediumsized firm,” Michelle says. “I think we would stay a smaller firm, just to make sure we keep that high level of client service and the right culture in the office.
