stream work, but they were able to quickly expand their scope after demonstrating their capabilities to the client. “They didn’t really know who we were at first,” Clint recalls. “Now we’re doing the majority of the earthwork scope plus some of the walls.” The recently completed Cougar Creek Dam in Canmore serves as another strong example –David describes that project as a landmark achievement for both Ironclad and the region. The project’s sheer scale, environmental sensitivity, and logistical demands presented enormous challenges, yet Ironclad’s team executed it with precision and discipline. The dam now provides vital flood protection for the Canmore area and stands as a testament to the company’s capability to manage complexity under tight constraints. “It was a project that really demonstrated what our team can do,” David says. “The coordination it required across so many moving parts showed our ability to manage scale, quality, and safety all at once.” The company has since submitted Cougar Creek for some industry accolades, but Clint notes that awards are never the motivation. “For us, it’s always been about the work itself and knowing we’ve delivered something meaningful.” Looking to the future, Clint says the company’s goal is to continue delivering meaningful project while continuing to grow in a managed and sustainable way.
