Randy says most of the credit there belongs to his brother Shaun, who co-founded the company, and who set the tone for quality and accountability early on. “He always wanted to make sure the job was done right and he treated every job site – whether it was residential or commercial – as if it was his own home,” Randy says. “He instilled that philosophy in the guys we have now. He taught them the quality that is expected.” That same standard is now embodied by the next generation of leadership, including crew leader Blake Holbrough, who recently marked five years with the company. “Blake’s one of those guys you can rely on completely. He leads by example, and that sets the pace for the rest of the team.” Much of TRI-DYS’s workforce has been built through personal referrals – friends, former hockey players Randy has coached, and people introduced by existing employees. This approach has created a close-knit environment where everyone understands the expectations and values of the company from the outset. “When someone already fits our team culture, that’s half the battle,” Randy explains.
