Historically, Randy says the company’s growth has mainly come through repeat business or referrals, which is a testament to the satisfaction they achieve and the trust they build. Randy believes the key to earning that trust is delivering quality work and communicating along the way. He says the importance of communication, in particular, cannot be overstated – and he credits his background in accounting and corporate consulting for teaching him that. “I think it’s refreshing for clients to deal with a construction company of our size that has our background and skillset in communication,” he says. “We’re really good at proactively keeping the client up to speed on what’s going on. We have multiple touch points throughout the sales cycle and preconstruction cycle. We do a good job of answering their questions and making sure they feel comfortable and confident in our abilities.” Randy previously worked at BDO Canada, which had “dozens of multi-million projects on the go on multiple continents all at once.” He believes that experience sets TRI-DYS apart: “A lot of the people who own companies like ours are great guys, they’re really good at what they do, but they don’t have that same kind of background,” Randy says. “I think that’s something that THE CONSTRUCTION SOURCE CANADA
