Building a legacy As previously mentioned, Bredin Brothers has developed a high calibre team of project coordinators, project managers, site supervisors, and carpenters. To a person, Emerson says they are all “extremely hard working people,” and “extremely passionate about what they do.” He says he often hears from peers in the industry that they are having trouble finding workers who are motivated to show up to work every day, but that’s not a challenge he shares. “I think we have a very strong culture of hard work,” he says. “It starts at the top and it circles down. Even our carpenter helpers, who are fresh out of high school, they’re there every single day, they’re asking to work weekends, they’re busting their tail, and nobody complains.” Emerson believes one of the key ways they foster that culture is through a strong online presence and active engagement on social NOVEMBER 2025
