Bredin Brothers is an acclaimed Muskokabased builder of custom homes, cottages, and boathouses. Since forming in 2020, they have built up a team of the region’s most skilled craftspeople, they have developed a portfolio of stunning and large-scale homes and renovations, and they have quickly become recognized as a company for their overall commitment to excellence. According to founder and owner Emerson Bredin, their success has come as a result of their team’s experience, their talent, and – most importantly – their commitment to bring their clients dreams to life. “Realizing the vision of a client requires a builder that takes the client’s goals seriously,” Emerson says. “That’s us. Building is not just our job – it’s our passion. We’re passionate about creating custom homes that reflect each client’s unique vision, and we approach every project as an opportunity to build relationships.” Emerson personally started his career in building as a carpenter working for other builders. About seven years ago, he moved to Muskoka and started working with one of the larger custom home builders in the area, where he worked on some premier projects, such as a 10,000-squarefoot cottage. Soon after working on those projects, he decided to strike out on his own. He initially formed Bredin Brothers as a carpentry company and he subcontracted for other builders, but about three years ago the company transitioned to building their own homes – and has grown by leaps and bounds ever since.
