A culture designed to grow people Hall, now a Director, has grown through several roles with the company. She first joined in 2007 as an office manager, later moved into construction management on Tectonica’s early single family residential projects, and after taking some time off to raise her daughter, returned to the company – where she has since worn many hats and gained significant experience. “This is a place where people are encouraged to grow,” Michelle says. “Our team is supported in developing as individuals and professionals. initiative is recognized and we work to support our team in their personal journeys.” With a team of roughly 26 people, Tectonica has also invested intentionally in strengthening internal culture. Working with leadership and mindfulness expert Patricia Galaczy, the team participates in ongoing training focused on communication, resiliency, emotional intelligence, and healthy conflict. “The goal is a consistent voice and a consistent experience – for clients, trades, consultants, and each other,” Michelle explains. Darren adds, “It’s changing how we talk, how we solve problems, and how we support each other.
