The Construction Source

After more than a decade in business, Chris shows no signs of slowing down. The next chapter for Paradise Vacation Properties involves a focus on sustainability and affordability – two challenges he’s determined to tackle head-on. “I’m interested in building some four-plex rental units to help address the affordable housing issue in the area,” he explains. “At the same time, I’m partnering with Park Place Properties, a company that specializes in luxury vacation rentals, to explore more immersive, sustainable designs.” Chris is also exploring new building technologies, including structural insulated panels made from 100% recycled materials and the integration of solar and geothermal systems. “We’re trying to lower our carbon footprint and build smarter,” he says. “It’s about connecting to nature, reducing waste, and creating homes that are efficient and environmentally responsible.” Through all the changes, one thing remains constant – Chris’s passion for creating spaces that bring people together. Whether it’s a family retreat overlooking Buckhorn Lake or a sustainable development designed for modern living, each project reflects his belief that great building is about more than construction – it’s about creating something lasting, both in structure and in spirit. “I think what sets us apart is that we’re fair, we care, and we do what’s right,” Chris concludes. “We build great homes, but we also build great relationships. That’s what Paradise Vacation Properties has been about from the start, and that’s what we always want to be about.” NOVEMBER 2025
