A lot to offer Currently, Killarney Turtle-Mountain is working on a fairly large project at their landfill, where they are building a new cell to house their household waste. As part of that project, they are also building a shop and an office building. Furthermore, they are developing a master plan for how to utilize that land most effectively over the next 10-to-15 years. In general, Meghan says the municipality is doing a lot of thinking about how to grow in a balanced and deliberate way. With their full spectrum of local services – including healthcare, dental, optometry, physiotherapy, and more – she believes they are well-positioned as a destination for residents, businesses, and investors. “We want to market Killarney as a place where people are welcome and businesses are welcome,” she concludes. “We have a safe community; we’re welcoming; we’re a great place to raise a family. We can accommodate new homes. We have an industrial park prepared for business and industry.
