Brian comes from a deep background in the building trades. His father is a respected local builder who has been building custom homes and renovations for a long time, and Brian grew up working alongside him. He eventually struck out on his own and started a small business building stairs, called Centennial Stairs and Woodworking, but he never left his father’s company behind. During the day, he would work at his dad’s business, managing things on site and helping with the quoting process during, then on evenings and weekends he would manage his own company. When his father retired, he focused on building up his own business. Today, Sylvan Construction is a full-fledged construction business that serves a wide variety of homeowners in the Brockville area. In terms of projects, they handle everything from minor home improvements and custom woodworking to full-scale residential, commercial renovations and ground-up new builds.
