We have a great culture here and I think that’s why we are seeing the results we’re seeing.” Moving forward, Michael expects the County of Paintearth to continue to work closely with the Town of Castor. He sees that partnership as the key to continued growth: “I think we’ve now found a way forward together as two municipal bodies to co-plan for the development and growth of the area. Hopefully, these projects will bring housing, families, new taxes, more uptake on community programs, more use of the town’s rec facilities – more community activity in general.” “But we understand that you can’t have more community until you make room for it,” he concludes. “That’s really what we’re doing at this stage of the game – we’re setting the table for a new chapter in the future of both municipalities, Paintearth County and the Town of Castor.” JUNE 2025
