Within weeks, internal email traffic dropped by 40 per cent, and decisions that once took days were resolved in hours. “When a supervisor can snap a photo of a problem and get an answer in real time,” Mario says, “that’s a game-changer for both schedule and budget.” The firm is also piloting modular concrete pours – precast wall and slab panels assembled on site – to minimize weather-related delays in Alberta’s harsh winters. Composite decking panels, which cure faster than traditional wood, are being tested as a more efficient alternative for light-industrial mezzanines. But speed and efficiency never come at the expense of safety.
