These days, Natik Projects offers a broad range of mechanical services tailored to meet the diverse needs of their clients. Those services include: design, installation and maintenance of HVAC systems; comprehensive plumbing services; design and installation of process piping systems; custom metal fabrication services; and much more. Their projects can range in size from a service call, to a small single-family home, to a “multi-year mega infrastructure project” with a total project of over $100 million. No matter the size or complexity of their project, Vince believes clients choose Natik Projects for the same reasons. The main reason, he says, is their ability to work in extreme conditions, such as those in Nunavut and the Northwest Territories. As he explains it, building successful mechanical systems is complex and challenging even in the best of circumstances – building them in remote locations in extreme weather is even more complex and challenging, and not a lot of companies can do it. Natik Projects is one of the few companies with a proven track record. “We have multiple decades of Northern experience within our team,” Vince says. “We’ve all spent our lives building infrastructure in Nunavut and the Territories. And our team is very diverse – we have Red Seals, engineers, technologists. So we have that depth of that knowledge and that ability to understand mechanical systems and how they work in the north, and we have the ability to build them successfully.” To the team at Natik, building ‘successfully’ means building safely and efficiently, Vince adds. He says that safety and efficiency are “the two drums we’re always banging.” “We have the ability to put pipe in the air and do it safely and do it efficiently, and that’s a big part of JULY 2025
