Natik Projects is a mechanical systems contractor that has played a pivotal role in shaping the infrastructure of Nunavut and Northwest Territories. Over the years, and through multiple iterations, the company has developed an unrivalled reputation within the Canadian Arctic for their commitment quality workmanship and commitment to safety and sustainability. Today, they work with a wide array of clients and provide a comprehensive range of mechanical solutions, always with the goal of delivering quality and exceeding expectations. “At Natik Projects, we specialize in delivering topnotch mechanical services and solutions,” says Vince Bruno, owner and operations manager. “With decades of experience and a dedicated team of skilled professionals, we are committed to providing unparalleled quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction in every project we undertake.” Natik Projects has been working in the North since 1993, but was reformed in 2007 by Vince’s father Tino Bruno. In starting Natik, Tino’s goal was to play an active role in the development of infrastructure in the region. Vince, for his part, grew up around the family business and spent time in his childhood in Cambridge Bay in Nunavut. He officially joined the company in 2016 and later took it over in 2019. In his time there, he says the company has grown significantly but their mission has remained the same. “We’ve always focused on being part of key infrastructure project that support the north and support the Inuit population here,” he says. “We still have those same principles and that same business mode. That’s been our model since day one, and that continues to be our model.” JULY 2025
