Figuring things out These days, Sun City Exteriors stays busy doing a lot of reroofs and roof repairs. Glenn personally spends a lot of his time bending sheet metal – the company has a functioning sheet metal shop that they have built up over the years, which gives them the ability to build custom metal parts to facilitate trickier projects. “That’s how I spend a lot of my day – building custom metal parts for my guys, to help them fit in pieces where the generic metal parts you buy at the store won’t fit. So when we’re installing items such as skylights or chimney flashing kits, I can build custom flashing kits to fit exactly everything that we need it to fit. That’s very useful and results in a better looking finished project.” Moving forward, Glenn wants to continue building up that shop and to continue refining his sheet metal abilities.
