Panatch Group’s story began in 1990 when Kush Panatch founded a development company in Richmond, British Columbia. Built on integrity and a hands-on approach, that company quickly earned a reputation for quality projects and longterm community value. Now, as the business begins to transition to the next generation, Kush’s daughter Eshleen and her brother, Aman are steadily taking the reins, preserving the company’s legacy while steering it with new energy and ideas. “Every decision we make is still rooted in what my dad built,” says Eshleen Panatch, now coexecutive vice president of the company alongside her brother, Aman Panatch. A lawyer by training, she joined the business in 2017, marking the start of a new chapter in its evolution. Aman, who began working with the company in 2003, has long overseen many of the operational aspects of the business. Together, they lead a dedicated team that keeps their focus close to home, taking on projects within an hour’s drive of Richmond and bringing thoughtful, community-oriented residential developments to life. Panatch Group’s largest project to date was a $250 million development completed in 2022, consisting of 358 condominiums. These days, however, the company is now intentionally focused on mid-scale developments. According to Eshleen, their ideal project consists of somewhere between 70 and 100 units. “That gives us the ability to maintain control, stay involved, and ensure every detail meets our standard.” The company’s latest project, a 35-unit residential build, reflects that commitment to quality over quantity. Panatch doesn’t take on more than they can manage. Instead, the team pursues projects that allows for direct involvement and build relationships, not just buildings. JULY 2025
