No matter the client type, Jeff believes a big part of what sets Alwind apart is their reliability and their track record. On the installation side, the company is particularly well regarded for their speediness and efficiency. They are known for their ability to go into buildings that are often occupied – like care homes, hospitals, and schools – and remove the windows and replace them within the same day, with very minimal disruption to the occupants. “A lot of our clients are longstanding, they have experience with us, they’ve seen what we can do,” Jeff explains. “They know that we have the ability to get in and get out, and they know they’re not going to have the same problems that they’ve experienced with other trades who do similar work. They like having that reassurance.” Jeff partly credits Alwind’s ability to move fast and not make mistakes to the company’s 40-plus years of experience. He also credits their ability to fabricate their own products in their shop, which means they don’t have to do much assembly on site.
